Cold War Studies strives to maintain the highest standards of decency, fairness, and integrity in all our operations.  We will not give, sell, rent, or loan any personally identifiable information to any third party, unless we are legally required to do so or you authorize us to do so.

What information do we collect?

Cold War Studies collects personally identifiable information from the visitors to our sites only on a voluntary basis. Personal information collected on a voluntary basis may include name, postal address, email address, company name, and telephone number.

This information is collected if you request a service or ask for some other information from us, participate in a contest or sweepstakes, place an order, subscribe to our blog or join our email list.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you is internally reviewed and may be used in one of the following ways:

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order. In addition, we may send occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

In some cases, we may collect information about you that is not personally identifiable. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer Cold War Studies, to track users’ movements, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. The information collected is used solely for internal review and not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Because we value your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Cold War Studies, as well as its products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older. We will never knowingly collect or use personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and on our apps, not to information collected offline.
